Frontier Airlines and others are adding extra flights from Philadelphia to New Orleans to accommodate the fans going to New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX on February 9, 2025.

Frontier Airlines will offer tailored flights for Philadelphia Eagles fans heading to the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX on February 9, 2025. On February 8 and 10, the airline will make a one-way trip from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) to Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY).

As far as excitement about the project, vice president of network and operations design for Frontier Airlines Josh Flyr thinks that this one will excite, as “we can’t wait to see our planes packed with midnight green as Philly’s biggest football fans flock to The Big Easy for America’s biggest sporting event of the year.”

More than Frontier, other major airlines are ramping up services to New Orleans for Super Bowl. American Airlines will operate two flights from Philadelphia on February 8, and Delta Air Lines and United Airlines also added nonstop options to meet the increased demand.

There are still deals to be found for fans who want to travel affordably. Round-trip flights from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to New Orleans start at $157. For fans in the Philadelphia area, that’s a great option.

As Super Bowl LIX excitement builds, airlines are ramping up their efforts to get fans to New Orleans.
