Alaska Airlines has launched “Mileage Plan™ Unlocked,” a new program enabling members to redeem miles for special experiences beyond regular flights. This program provides entry to a carefully selected range of events, including music festivals such as Coachella and Stagecoach, VIP suites for multiple sporting events and concerts, and dining experiences such as dinners at award-winning restaurants such as Napa’s Church Vineyards. Members can bid on high-end events or buy experiences outright with their miles, with opportunities beginning at 10,000 miles. This rollout is designed to give members a variety of interesting and different ways to use their miles, increasing the overall value of the Mileage Plan™ loyalty program.
