MIAMI – Tennessee Titans’ rookie quarterback Will Levis was At the end of a closely contested Monday Night Football match against the Miami Dolphins. Since taking over the starting quarterback’s role for the Titans, Levis had made quite an impression with a big arm, and poise in the pocket, and unfortunately went down in the second quarter after being sacked while throwing the pass.

He suffered an injury when a Dolphins defensive lineman slammed him to the ground and twisted awkwardly in his left shoulder. Trainers initially treated him on the field, and he walked off favoring his right arm. Levis did not return for the rest of the game, and the fans and teammates were worried about his future status.

The Titans brought in a former backup quarterback, Ryan Tannehill, for Levis but were unable to mount too much of an offense. Finally, the Titans lost as the Dolphins capitalized on the Titans’ pressure on defense and controlled play the entire game.

Titans coach Mike Vrabel didn’t say much after, confirming the shoulder injury to Levis but little more. “We’ll evaluate him further and get some tests done, but right now it’s early to say how serious it is,” Vrabel said. “Will’s a tough kid, and we’ll hope for the best.”

One bright spot of this season for the Titans has been Levis, drafted in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft. In his limited time as a starter, he has had some great performances, holding Tennessee hope for the future.

Hopefully, that will be the extent of Levis’s injury because fans and commentators can only anxiously await updates on his condition, for the Titans’ chances of making it to the playoffs might be highly affected by such an injury. The Titans have had quite an inconsistent season so far, and losing their young quarterback would be another blow in what has already been hard.

The Titans should be able to update the fans over the next few days with more information on Levis’s injury as he undergoes another medical evaluation. In the meantime, Tennessee is going to have to prepare to get by with Tannehill and the rest of the offense as they seek to bounce back from this loss and keep their season on track.
