A Frontier Airlines plane coming from San Diego incurred a tough landing at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, which resulted in some fire breaking under the airplane.

Nevertheless, within 45 minutes of touching down, 190 passengers and crew members were evacuated safely since the authorities started investigating the cause.

Panic erupted on a Frontier Airlines flight from San Diego to Las Vegas on Saturday when flames were observed beneath the aircraft during a hard landing at Harry Reid International Airport.

Flight 1326, with 190 passengers and seven crew members aboard, was subjected to tire blowouts while landing, and smoke entered the cockpit. The pilots promptly declared an emergency.

It was actually shocking video footage of flames and smoke trailing behind the aircraft while it came to stop on the runway. This swift response by the Clark County Fire Department ensured that all passengers and crew members were safely evacuated and transported to the terminal.

The incident occurred around 3:15 p.m. PT, and the said authority put a ground stop at the airport until 7 p.m. so the runway could be safe for another round of landings.

Frontier Airlines has yet to reveal the cause of the hard landing. Until now, the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) continues conducting an inquiry into the said incident.

Despite the scary scene, there were no reports of injury. The airport authorities congratulated the emergency teams on their very prompt response.
