The next James Bond film is officially in the works, and it’s being produced by two of the biggest names in Hollywood: Amy Pascal and David Heyman.
Amazon MGM Studios announced today that Amy Pascal (known for Spider-Man) and David Heyman (behind Harry Potter) will co-produce the next 007 movie, marking a major moment for the legendary spy franchise.
A Bond Dream Team
Pascal and Heyman are no strangers to massive movie hits. Together, they’ve helped shape some of the biggest and most successful film franchises of all time. Now, they’re stepping into the James Bond universe.
“We’re honored and excited to keep the spirit of Bond alive,” Pascal and Heyman said in a joint statement. “Barbara Broccoli and Michael Wilson have done such incredible work, and we’re humbled to follow in their footsteps.”
Amazon MGM Promises a Bold Next Chapter
Courtenay Valenti, head of film at Amazon MGM Studios, praised the new producers:
“Amy and David are two of the most respected producers in the industry. We’re thrilled to have them on board to shape Bond’s next chapter.”
What Else Are They Working On?
This isn’t Pascal’s first time teaming up with Amazon MGM. She’s currently wrapping up Project Hail Mary, starring Ryan Gosling, which hits theaters in March 2026. She also worked on Challengers, starring Zendaya, and is producing a Spider-Noir series with Nicolas Cage.
She’s still deeply involved with all things Spider-Man, including the Spider-Verse animated films and a fourth Tom Holland movie set to start filming this summer.
Heyman, meanwhile, is juggling plenty too, including the upcoming Harry Potter TV series, Taika Waititi’s Klara and the Sun with Jenna Ortega and Amy Adams, and Jay Kelly, a Netflix project he’s co-producing with Pascal, starring George Clooney and Adam Sandler.
Heyman’s past hits include Barbie, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Marriage Story, Gravity, and of course, all eight Harry Potter films and the Fantastic Beasts series.
