Without warning, Logitech has bumped up prices on several of its best-selling accessories. From the MX Master 3S to the K400 Plus, buyers are now paying more—and no one’s saying why.
Stealthy Price Hike Hits Popular Products
Logitech, one of the most trusted names in computer accessories, has quietly raised prices on several of its most popular mice and keyboards over the past few months—some by as much as 25%.
Take the MX Master 3S mouse, a longtime fan favorite. Just a short while ago, it retailed for $99.99. Now? It’s listed at $119.99.
Same story with the Pro X TKL keyboard—once $199.99, it’s now $219.99. Even budget models weren’t spared. The K400 Plus Wireless Touch keyboard jumped from $27.99 to $34.99, which is a 25% increase.
Not All Prices Changed
To be fair, not every product has seen a hike. The MX Ergo and G703 gaming mice are still priced the same, and the Pro X Superlight has actually seen a small drop from $159.99 to $149.99. But overall, the direction is clear: prices are going up—and fast.
Logitech Offers No Explanation
What’s behind the jump? That’s still a mystery. Logitech hasn’t released a statement, responded to press inquiries, or updated its pricing policy. For customers, the silence is frustrating.
“Logitech declined to comment when asked about the reason for the price changes,” noted The Verge.
The Verge also pointed out that “Logitech recently pulled its outlook for its 2026 fiscal year, citing uncertainty caused by global tariffs.” That may offer a clue.
Could Tariffs Be the Culprit?
President Trump’s re-election and renewed trade policies have spurred uncertainty for many companies. Logitech could be reacting to the possibility of increased tariffs on imports, which would raise costs across the board.
That said, no official connection has been made. It’s speculation until the company clarifies.
What You Can Do as a Consumer
If you’re in the market for a new mouse or keyboard, you may want to compare prices across retailers—or wait for discounts. In some cases, older versions of the same products are still available at lower prices.
And if you’ve been eyeing something like the MX Master 3S or Pro X TKL, it might be wise to shop around or look at refurbished options.
Logitech is known for quality—but quality usually comes at a price. For now, that price just got steeper, and no one’s sure how long it’ll stay that way. One thing is clear: customers are being asked to pay more, and they’re not being told why.
