Hallmark Media is extending its commitment to Hope Valley. During the Season 12 finale, the network officially announced that this series has been renewed for Season 13, making it Hallmark’s longest-running scripted series to date.
The new season is set to release in 2026 on the Hallmark Channel and will also be available to stream the following day on Hallmark+, where all previous seasons are currently streaming.
A Story That Keeps on Resonating
“Hearties are far more than a fan-base — they are a connected community, as loyal and supportive as the characters of Hope Valley,” said Samantha DiPippo, Senior Vice President of Programming at Hallmark Media. “It is an honor to tell stories of hope, resilience, humor and romance that continue to resonate with millions of viewers for twelve seasons and beyond.”
When Calls the Heart is based on the novel by Janette Oke and follows Elizabeth Thatcher, an educated schoolteacher, who leaves her comfortable city life in the early 1900s to start over in a rugged frontier town. The show has become a flagship series for Hallmark, recognized for its comforting, emotional telling, and dedicated audience.
Love in Hope Valley
In Season 12, the series spotlighted a blossoming romance between Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) and Mountie Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry), winning over fans’ hearts as the two characters embraced a new beginning. Viewers also followed the lives and stories of returning characters played by Jack Wagner, Chris McNally, Pascale Hutton, and Kavan Smith.
