UC Irvine Athletics announced an exclusive multi-year partnership with Upscale CBD and VuVuV CBD Petline, the companies’ first foray into collegiate athletics. This partnership is to improve health and wellness offerings for UC Irvine athletes and their fans.
Upscale CBD, a Chicago-based health and wellness company, and its pet-focused brand, VuVuV CBD Petline, are high-quality hemp-derived CBD for people and their pets. The deal will use UC Irvine’s marketing channels, including in-venue signage at the Bren Events Center and digital campaigns through Learfield’s Fan365 program, to promote these products.
John Abdou, Senior Associate Athletic Director for Health, Wellness & Sports Performance at UC Irvine, was thrilled with the partnership, pointing out how CBD products may benefit the athletic community.
