JetBlue plans to launch its inaugural airport lounges at JFK and Boston Logan by the end of 2025, providing upscale facilities and special access for credit cardholders and devoted patrons.
JetBlue is making this move in an effort to fulfill the increasing demand for upscale services.
JetBlue is venturing into the luxury travel category with airport lounges that are set to be unveiled by the end of 2025 for Boston Logan International Airport and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport.
It’s a new business push for an airline that has been labeled cheap tickets. The lounges are part of JetBlue’s new “JetForward” initiative to enhance business class travel.
The Boston Logan club, with a space of 11,000 square feet in Terminal C will be even bigger than the JFK lounge with its 8,000 square feet in Terminal 5.
With an array of workstations and social areas, free Wi-Fi, free food and drink, and a premium experience tailored for today’s traveler, these lounges will be open to everyone.
These customers would include the new premium credit card holders, the TrueBlue Mosaic 4 members, and the passengers traveling in its Transatlantic Mint class. Apart from this, some customers would be allowed to buy one-time day passes, annual passes, or visitor cards.
We’ve listened to our customers, and they’ve been asking for a JetBlue lounge for years,” says Jenna Berkshire. “Our lounges will further enhance our TrueBlue loyalty program and premium offerings.”
The lounges will help JetBlue increase its competitive edge in the airline industry while offering its most dedicated customers an even more personal, luxurious experience.
